AT THE HELM

Tom Luther
I am a Licensed Master Electrician I currently hold 8 masters licenses in 5 counties, 2 cities and the State of New Jersey. I also hold a New York State Fire Alarm license to install and maintain Fire Alarm Systems. Currently, I am the primary license holder for the company.
What I like best about what I do
I love to work with our customers to help them understand how to make their installation successful or solve any problems that arise that might inhibit their productivity. I like having multiple projects going at the same time and I do well when I’m under pressure. Bring it on!
Best Client Success Story
A few years back there was a client that I was told Vista would never be able to service. Building relationships with our clients is a critical factor to our success. I was able to make an inroad that led to a building renovation, wiring many machines. We were instrumental in wiring a complete facility that we successfully maintain.
My vision for the next 50 years
I would like to see Vista grow to the point of having contracts in all industrial facilities in the lower Hudson Valley. It would be exciting to see us learn and work more in the technology industries and start up a low voltage division.
When I’m not working clients with their electrical projects
I enjoy traveling, riding motorcycles, working on home projects and spending time with family and friends.

What I like best about what I do
Every day is different. We’ve all worked together for so long, it’s like family.
Our Best Client Success Story.
All of our repeat customers are a success story, and a lot of our business is from customers we’ve had for over 40 years. I love when we bring on a new client knowing that they will most likely become part of the Vista family.
My goals for the company in the next 50 years.
Vista will continue to service our customers and our community, with the same level of professionalism and talent and stay on the forefront of electrical innovations to make sure customers stay productive.
What I love to do when I’m not working with clients
When I’m not in the office or volunteering, I love spending time with my family, seeing live music, and riding my Harley.

What I love about what I do.
The best thing about my work is solving electrical problems – I enjoy getting creative in the electrical layouts and preventing downtimes for our customers.
Best client success story…
There are many so it’s more about establishing and maintaining customers for many, many years. I enjoy watching new clients feel good about their decision to work with us and giving them the best of our knowledge and expertise so they thrive.
When I’m not solving customers’ electrical issues or planning a project
I enjoy time with my family, exploring the area, bike riding, hiking and woodworking.
GLOWING REVIEWS
See why our customers place their trust in us.
We have worked with Vista for more than 20 years. The quality of their work is exceptional and they are always easily accessible…even for emergency situations. Vista’s staff is exceptional. They are professional, extremely courteous, accommodating and willing to assist at all times. Work is always completed in a timely fashion, if not sooner to accommodate our inspections. Their willingness is a part of their work ethic and is one of the many reasons we will continue to work together.
